Peter:
[0:00] Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Inspirational Soulcast. Oh my god, this has been so overdue. I'm joined by my lovely friend, colleague, and massive, massive soulmate and soul family personal man, Nick Demos. Welcome back.
Nick:
[0:15] Thank you. I'm so glad to be back.
Peter:
[0:19] And what's even better, just in case you're not in the know, we had Nick Demos and Daniel Douglas Hunt, come and join us for the Inspirational Soul Summit in January here on the Gold Coast Australia, which was absolutely fucking amazing. I had the best time all around and everyone in the room let us know as well. And as such, you are going to be joining us again in October.
Nick:
[0:46] I'm coming back to Oz.
Peter:
[0:48] He's coming back to Oz. Click your heels three times. Well.
Nick:
[0:54] I haven't called dorothy before.
Peter:
[0:57] Well hang on you are the fairy godfather, Now, that's a bit of an insight. That's a bit of an interesting insight. Just in case he's listening or not aware of it, where did the fairy godfather like little label come from?
Nick:
[1:12] You know, I'm not really sure. One of my clients started calling me her fairy godfather and it was on like a group call. And suddenly my clients one by one started calling me their fairy godfather and it just sort of took on a life of its own and i didn't really have much to say about it.
Peter:
[1:36] Well what do they say it's like it's a nickname you don't get a say in your nickname.
Nick:
[1:41] Well especially when your name is nick.
Peter:
[1:46] But very good but i think it also parts of play because knowing you personally, and everything it's like you, so insightful for people when, you know because i mean we both do coaching we've kind of been through that we've been in our own little situations where we've also been on the receiving end and being the students ourselves, but i know that where it's like you can just see it for what it is you can delve deeper and it's almost beautiful because you kind of have this beautiful subtle way of helping people get to the core of it, and i've seen it where people go oh, they have that moment it's like oh and it's like yeah now you say like that yeah yeah.
Nick:
[2:37] When you when you get when you when you got that somebody when they say that oh you go okay now we're in right now.
Peter:
[2:45] Now now.
Nick:
[2:46] We're beginning to like process and understand And you hit, you touch that like heart. You touch something like within them, something, you know, deeper.
Peter:
[2:58] And, you know, this is a beautiful thing because, you know, we travel along this path. And this is what I love about, like, obviously, Connect with Myself and Dania and, you know, other people in our circles. We are on the same wavelength of we don't stop working on ourselves. As much as we're trying to help other people along the way, I can guarantee you guys, we are always examining. We're always reflecting. We're always. And we're not exempt. Now, as much as like, and I know, Nick, you are an absolutely exceptional, you know, coach in that regard. Like, you know, you see everything, creativity, everything. But I know that you also kind of go, hey, I'm human. I'm right here with you in this journey. And I think anyone who experienced your energy live here, you know, in Australia in general can say, wow. Like, we've got footage. We've actually got footage of people going, having that moment of where you're talking and going, wow, I feel that. I really get that.
Peter:
[4:01] And it's a beautiful thing. And I think because what we've come up with, and guys, where this all kind of ties in is, so when we get together, our little soul's brain trust here, you know, and we'll be getting Daniel on and talking with her in the next episode too. But we kind of go, what's going on? What do – what are we feeling and what do we feel you guys as our listeners or as our attendees and whatever was kind of coming along, what do we feel like is what's going on? And what we've discovered and come up with and it's for us as well is we're looking at the remembering. And this is a big space of kind of, remembering in a deeper way, not massively super-duper soul, not like we need to go on a massive meditation retreat to remember, but this is like remembering ourselves. Are you saying it worked or didn't work?
Nick:
[5:04] Yes. And I'll leave it at that.
Peter:
[5:10] But this one's different though, isn't it, Nick? It's like we're talking more about it's really it's identity at the moment, isn't it?
Nick:
[5:15] Yeah, it really is. There's this identity shift back, but in a new way. I think, you know, we've been saying it's sort of remembering who you are. But what I said to a friend the other day was that I feel like it's this remembering who I am, but in this almost like up leveled version of myself that I had to go through so much shit. But, so much pulling apart in the same way that I think our society, our institutions, everything has been falling apart, right? And we're beginning this phase and we're maybe not quite fully at the full fall apart yet. I hope we're close. But the idea of remembering, well, who are we? Who are we as a society? Who are we as human beings at sort of our core? But then it's a reinvention of who I thought I was, but in a totally different way now.
Peter:
[6:17] I know i get that but for someone who's listening going okay but, i could almost hear someone going but don't we all kind of go through and think about like who we are at some point you're saying there that this is like a leveled up version so, if someone's listening how would you describe it for someone who might be going am i going through this or is it maybe it's just my imagination or Or is everyone just telling me to chill the fuck out?
Peter:
[6:47] Well, how would you be describing this level up version of this part of that remembering process?
Nick:
[6:54] Yeah, I think for me, and I can only really speak for me, right? That you mentioned creativity. I'm a storyteller. And I think that I, in many ways, left that for a period of time. And I went on a new journey, which is very needed, and learned some new skills and met new people, including you. And, you know, I needed to, like, have different experiences to now turn back and go, oh, I was creative all along. Speaking of Dorothy, it's like I'm clicking my heels. Click, click. There's no place like home.
Peter:
[7:31] Click, click.
Nick:
[7:32] There's no place like home. Click, click. I am that creative human. I am that storyteller. I am all of those things. But I took all of this new knowledge and this new wisdom, and now I'm going back to my roots. If you feel in any way that you're going back to your roots about anything, about who you were when you were a kid, what did you do when you were a kid when nobody was looking or when you just did it because you enjoyed it and loved it. If you're going back to that in some way, shape, or form, but maybe it's in a new way, that means you're in it. That means that you're having that remembering. That means you're remembering exactly who you actually are, and it's up-leveled.
Peter:
[8:20] It's interesting. It's such a paradoxical thing because we start off as that version of ourselves. And like you say, we go on these journeys and we collect the layers, so to speak. But then we get here and it's like, no, you've got to de-remember, sanitize all that, wash that or come back to the core or come back to some level of essence of self.
Nick:
[8:46] Well, part of it, I think, is that we take on what other people tell us.
Peter:
[8:51] Mm-hmm. The reason why I'm saying, that, I'm feeling every word of what you just said, like every word. I'm like, oh, that hit and that is like, I won't lie, it's heavy hearing that because there is truth to that, especially for myself. So, I just want to acknowledge that because it's like, oof, that hit.
Nick:
[9:14] And if you're energy sensitive, like you are, like I am, like probably most of the people that listen to this podcast are, you take on not only what people say, but how people feel and what's not being said as well. So consequently, you're taking on all of this of what people, their perception of you, of what you hear, of what they think, of what they feel. And I think part of this remembering is letting go of that and keeping the pieces, that do resonate with you, that do feel aligned with who you actually are.
Peter:
[9:58] I also resonate with that. And it's interesting you talked about like you being the creative and getting back to your roots. Like it's only reflecting in the last six months. And this is what a lot of people, even if you've just, you know, seen me live recently. So, anyone who's listening, this is you now get a bit of an inside scoop. But, you know, reflecting on things, I'm now introducing and bringing back a new way of doing my live work. Because even reflecting on that over the last, you know, however many years, I was formatting myself based on somebody else's format.
Nick:
[10:38] Yeah.
Peter:
[10:39] And now I've introduced- Ow.
Nick:
[10:41] Now I'm hitting it. Now you're hitting me. Ow, I feel that.
Peter:
[10:47] But it's interesting. I didn't even realize I was.
Nick:
[10:49] Yeah.
Peter:
[10:50] But it's interesting because then all of a sudden you're out there and you're doing it. And this can apply to any form of work, guys, or anything that you're doing because, I look at, I didn't even realize, but I was just because it was accepted or this is what was accepted as the norm, you know, not just by people on my side, but also on the audience's side because they don't necessarily know any different. But then all of a sudden, and I think you can relate to this, especially as a creative and as an energetic sensitive, eventually, if you keep going, and this might be something again relating, guys, if you're wondering if you're in that level up, and this is my experience, is that if you keep going, you will start to feel, it'll be fine for a while, like it lines up and it's okay. But then, it's almost like, we'll use that lovely little analogy or metaphor that we've, you know, we're both very familiar with. We can start off absolutely straight as narrow, but if you're one degree off.
Peter:
[11:53] But before you know it, you know, it's fine for a while, but after a longer period of time, you're very, very far away or you've drifted from that core part of yourself. Right. And that's what I've also found. And now it's interesting because I'm introducing elements into my live work that I actually built, discovered, and intuitively created when I was 19.
Peter:
[12:20] And my 19-year-old self would never have known that, oh my God, look at this. This is how you can help people with stuff that you created when you're 19.
Nick:
[12:29] And I think that's a bit of what I mean by up-leveling. you're taking like that intuitive you were just intuitive you were going all on you know what was coming through and grit right you yeah and and i think that, you're coming back to it now with with more mature eyes or fresh eyes and you're able to take that raw material that you created from that intuitive space and now you can take it and remember what it is and what it does and what it brings to the world, but you can, now with the wisdom that you've gained all of these years, all of these years, like you're 102, all of these years that you gained, and bring it to a new, in a new way, in a fresh way, but it's still at the core, who you really are and what you're really offering the world.
Peter:
[13:25] And I think that's a really key point. And one of the bigger elements And if anyone, like, and again, most people in my world, a little bit sensitive to the energy, even with doing that, because you're absolutely bang on, it's bringing it back, of course, the journey, the wisdom, now applying that beautiful raw material. But it's interesting, when I bring that raw material into my world now, I acknowledge and go, God, it was fun and it was so natural. And you can say raw, but it feels good because it's almost like, well, this is how I learned to walk, talk, and drive in my own way with my own work. And now it's like.
Nick:
[14:13] Well i've.
Peter:
[14:14] Got to bring that back because it's natural and it makes me feel good and it
Peter:
[14:19] gets me back into a better state of flow.
Nick:
[14:22] For myself that's play that's play you know i think that, we are remembering how to play if if if if i was to boil it down for myself anyway i'm remembering when i say i'm remembering who i am i'm remembering how to play i'm remembering how to enjoy. I'm remembering what joy actually is and what it feels like in my body. And the heaviness of the last however many years is beginning to dissipate and I'm no longer trying to control anything and I'm surrendering to the joy of the moment. And you can't see me because you're on a podcast here, but I'm moving my body around.
Peter:
[15:03] Oh, no, we're getting this. This will be edited.
Nick:
[15:05] We'll see that.
Peter:
[15:11] Well for those of you that are listening and not watching i was moving.
Nick:
[15:14] My body like i was a crazy person but it was really fun.
Peter:
[15:19] It was playful i'm so gonna put that on boomerang we're just gonna see that over and over again, you know i'll turn that into i'll turn it into a gift for gif for and that way you can send it to people going, remember?
Peter:
[15:34] Joy, creative, it's hey. It's like, for those who are listening, like Nick won't be familiar with it but anyone who's in Australia understands like he was almost pulling a Wiggles move and that's our kids', children's band that was put together and they're very, very famous worldwide, the Wiggles, and they do all that kind of. And so, but again, it's amazing. And I suppose that's a really interesting point. Like there's a group of guys that got together, saw the fun, the joy, the play in what they did. And they actually become some of the highest grossing individuals in Australian history through kids and fun and play. So, you know, it's definitely not to be dismissed or pushed to the side. But you make a real better point, though, because that play, that fun, that joy, that has been such an underlying, like, current probably for the last 18 months specifically. And I think it's just slowly, like, making its way back to the surface to say, hey, you remember me? Hey, like, I'm here and this is what it's like. Like, do you remember the animation movie by Pixar, Inside Out?
Nick:
[16:57] Yeah, of course.
Peter:
[16:59] Yeah. And so, this almost feels like, you know, Joy, that particular personality, was like pushed to the back of the control room. Yeah. And now she's like, she's making her way forward going, I'm here. You remember me? We had all these fun memories when we were a little kid. The core memories.
Nick:
[17:19] Yeah. Exactly.
Peter:
[17:21] Yeah. So, it's interesting kind of doing that, but in doing that, it's like, I like the way you said acknowledging the joy in the moment. But I know, like, this is one of those things, like, I know we're kind of more practiced in the awareness of catching ourselves consciously, but there'll be a lot of people going, I hear you, Nick, and I understand what you're saying or what you mean by that. But what does that actually look like or how would someone actively start doing that?
Nick:
[17:56] Yeah, because what I don't want people to do is to, you know, spiritually bypass or not feel your feelings. That's not what I'm talking about in any way, shape, or form. I'm talking about what are the things in your life that actually do bring you joy? Ask yourself that question. And if you don't know, now's the time to start discovering, rediscovering. Because I can tell you that it's there. That kid had some. And no matter what your circumstances, children are so resourceful and they find joy in the little moments. Watch a child if you if you if you can't think or remember. Go watch. And this sounds creepy. Go to a park and watch a kid. Not like that. Not creepy like that. But, watch a kid play on the playground.
Peter:
[18:55] Yes.
Nick:
[18:56] And I'm it's okay just ignore me I'm just your fairy godfather I'm your fairy godfather and I'm doing research.
Nick:
[19:05] Don't do that don't do that but if you can be around kids watch because and because that's really who you are and if you do know already know the things that bring you joy, go back to them I went back to ballet class for the first time him. In 25 years. I was a professional dancer and I stopped one day. I just stopped being a dancer. And I went back to class and I walk in the room and it's a beginning ballet class. Now you have to remember, I was a professional 25 years ago, but I'm like, I'm going to beginning ballet. And I walk in the room and the teacher says, is it anybody's first time?
Nick:
[19:48] And I very slowly raise my hand and I say, well, it's been 25 years. And she says, oh, well, do your best. Do your best. And I take class. I'm in class. And she comes up to me after. She says, okay, what's the story? That point, that line, come on. It can't be 25 years. And I said, well, I was a professional. She's like, oh, bury the lead. And I began to cry. Tears just started rolling down my cheeks because I had forgotten how much I loved it. I'd forgotten how fun it was. She's like, are you okay? And I was like, this is tears of joy because I was having so much fun.
Nick:
[20:40] So it's what were those things that you love to do when you're a kid or the things that you might love to do now or maybe it's even something that you want to explore, that you never got a chance to because sometimes when we were kids we didn't get to yeah and now you give you can give yourself permission to.
Peter:
[20:57] What was um i had one of them when i was in japan because as a kid i always wanted to do archery, But my parents being five kids, the youngest of five, like that's, I don't know. I had this very uncanny knack of picking some of the most expensive hobbies or sports known to mankind. But I thought to my, in my head as a kid's head, like I turned it just to be.
Nick:
[21:23] You were bougie.
Peter:
[21:26] But I remember my dad was nice. He entertained it and he looked and goes, you're not doing that. It's too expensive. But I remember then eventually getting to Japan and trying Japanese archery and I still love that. And it's like if I could, you know, take the opportunity to do that, I would because it's meditative in its own way but, you know, it's the same thing. You just kind of go, it's a bit of fun. I remember the first time we went outside and we went to the long range, which in Japanese is the Antiki range and it's about like I think it's about 52 meters. Yeah. And it was so cool because I had my own little childhood dream come true in that moment because there was five of us on the floor. We're all there. There's only three targets and we all launched together, but you actually had to tilt up like proper archery and then let go. And it was just like beautiful. And I hit the target and the guys are going, have you done this before? No, first shot.
Peter:
[22:25] But you have that and I look and go, there's that joy. There's that fun.
Nick:
[22:30] And even in the day-to-day moments, I think that I've made a switch in my brain at some point. And that was from, I used to say, or ask myself, what can I learn from this moment? What can I learn right now? And that lesson sometimes was really hard. And so now I've kind of been switching it to, what can I find joyous in this moment? Even if it's a lesson that's harder. Because I think there's been a part of me that has, being the good little boy, being the best boy in the world, being in push energy.
Peter:
[23:08] There's.
Nick:
[23:08] Been a part of me that's been like this has to be hard if it's going to be meaningful, it has to be hard and I'm coming to this new place of what if it doesn't.
Peter:
[23:19] Well we've talked a lot about it both you and I both, it's that especially over the last couple of years it's funny like we've both jumped into the coaching I know we're both very good at it but then there was that point of like yeah, it was there we were doing it But then we just got to a point, but at what cost?
Nick:
[23:41] Yeah.
Peter:
[23:42] Because that's where I know, like, we're both, and that's what kind of made us connect up. It was just that, and guys, you have no, like, the parallels in our, like, even though we're on opposite sides in different continents, the parallels that we have, like, literally on a week-to-week basis is just nuts. But, like, I remember going through that, and as much as it was working, we both were going, but at what cost? What are we doing here? And we were pushing. Absolutely pushing and you do get tired.
Nick:
[24:18] Yeah if you push a boulder up a hill for too long eventually you let go and the boulder comes back down towards you.
Peter:
[24:25] Absolutely and i think we've both realized it but it's interesting because you know we were both, in that space like we said journey we had to go on we were in a learning phase yeah i think we needed that we needed that And I love the way you say, needed new experiences. And I 1,000% agree with that because that's what I was seeking. I wasn't always necessarily seeking the learning, but I was seeking the experiences outside of my current world. Because I feel like, not necessarily I mastered my current world, but I definitely was hitting the walls or the edges of that world.
Nick:
[25:04] I get that deeply. I get that.
Peter:
[25:07] And that's when I was like, well, there's got to be something more. But I had no idea what that was because I was so within my bubble. I was so within my walls and I knew it. Like, you know, it's like what they say, like, if you walk around a room blindfolded, like my work, I could do that. But then, of course, you know, you go outside and you have those different experiences because there's some amazing experiences there. But it's also now brought us to this point of like, yeah, because we've, it's almost like it's interesting, right? So, we've kind of expanded,
Peter:
[25:39] but now we're also like kind of coming back into the center.
Nick:
[25:43] Yeah, I likened it to going to grad school. I felt like I was having new different experiences. I was in a school of sorts, an experienced school of sorts, so that I could now come back and, take all that with me, that knowledge, wisdom, know-how, and shape something new. I think that both of us are stepping into the unknown in a very powerful way, that I think that we're both creating something that doesn't really currently exist. And that's always scary. I'm getting a little chills here right now.
Peter:
[26:23] It's scary. Yeah. You call it scary. I'm just going to go, this is daunting.
Nick:
[26:30] Yeah.
Peter:
[26:31] And I think we're both like, you know, moving into where we're moving. I know I'm kind of creating my own space. I know you're redefining your space.
Nick:
[26:39] Yeah.
Peter:
[26:40] But we're, I can't help it, but it's almost like there's this jostling of energy with inside myself. And it's like one's going, you've really got to do this. And with that, obviously, that's expansion again. It's like, oh, hang on, there's something here. And it's more true to who I am, which I know that for a fact, but of course I'm not immune to it. Then the part goes, but if this doesn't work, I don't know where I'm going to be or what's going on.
Nick:
[27:12] Then what? Which tells you you're onto something, right? Like that tells you you're onto something. It's scary. That's the scary part for me. That's why I was saying it feels scary. Because, you know, I'm not a spring chicken. Now what?
Peter:
[27:30] You know? No, you say you're just that very good with all your wisdom, all your creative magic.
Nick:
[27:36] Right.
Peter:
[27:36] Bringing it back into the world.
Nick:
[27:38] Right. And so I think it's bringing up, for me, personally, it's bringing up some old insecurities and old thoughts and old feelings right to the surface. It's just right here. And a lot of it is, oh, so that I can look at what has been healed and maybe what needs some attention.
Peter:
[27:56] And that's what I love, obviously, you know, with yourself and other people in our world, we always look at that. We're never afraid to look at ourselves in the process. And I think that's a big thing when you're talking about it. And like anyone who's listening, you have to be willing to look at yourself. You can't do this without looking at yourself.
Peter:
[28:20] And that's a big thing. But always looking at two is like, but when you are looking at yourself, it doesn't mean that you have to do that by yourself.
Nick:
[28:30] Oh, hell no. No, no, no, no. You know, I think that the by yourself was an old story that I used to believe. It was the one that was, that's one of those things that was told to me that I then took on, that I had to be independent and powerful and I couldn't ask for help and that I had to do it all alone. And I think one of the gifts of the last however many years has been this sense of community and really stepping into communities, like you said, that maybe weren't, ones that I would normally have been in. And yet here I've met some soul family because of taking that risk and because of being myself in those spaces and because of, getting the help and getting camaraderie and getting support.
Peter:
[29:27] And it's a huge thing. Like, I know I wouldn't, I can't even, I don't even want to, to be honest. Like, I'm like, I'm trying to think about that. But part of me is like, don't think about what it would have been like if I didn't have it. Because that would be very different kind of situation. You know, it's a sliding doors moment.
Nick:
[29:45] Yeah.
Peter:
[29:46] Like, imagine if I didn't, like, get in there or have those experiences. You know, for me, and I think that's one of those things of like, it's daunting. And but I did I was like no I need this I want these experiences so I went for it and I love it and here we are as a result here we are doing it together you know.
Nick:
[30:07] At the end of the day and that's why.
Peter:
[30:10] And that's mean the other thing too is like I love it because now we get to, you know share some of that wisdom with other people you know in each other's worlds and that's what I'm so so grateful for, because again we've been through that journey of being told taking on that thing of, you have to do it by yourself like be the strong one do this do that like you know but now we know it's like no you don't have to and, you know even from the last one I think one of the most beautiful comments or common comments was, you know, from January was, it was so nice to be around people of like mind. It was more like people. I think more the wording was, I like being around people who got it.
Nick:
[31:02] So important.
Peter:
[31:03] Yeah. So important. And it's such a better- Because then you feel seen.
Nick:
[31:07] Yeah.
Peter:
[31:09] And how important is that?
Nick:
[31:11] It's everything. It's everything that you see me. It's everything that I see you. It's everything that we hold the mirror to each other, that we lift each other, that we call each other out on your bullshit, which you do to me all the time. You know, I mean.
Peter:
[31:23] It's so important.
Nick:
[31:27] It's important. It's important. It's so important. It's everything.
Peter:
[31:32] It really, really is. and that's why i always want to know like is in doing that and i know that, like with this guys and if you've been following on you've been listening like we in october over two days you know with nick, uh with dania and myself coming together for two days in a room again where we do this and we're going to be going into this remembering, and if this is something because i know nick you're you're going to be taking us through on those couple of days really specifically around the who am i aspect, you know and the what am i aspect, but i love it too because you're going to bring all that beautiful, creative, joy, fun energy into exploring that. So, you know, it's like, guys, don't think it's going to be like, sit down and let's discover ourselves. Like that way, it's very, very, very different.
Nick:
[32:35] Come ready to play.
Peter:
[32:37] And that's the biggest thing. I do like to say, come ready to play, but also come ready to be seen.
Nick:
[32:45] Yeah, that's actually better. You know, it's interesting. I used to say to my, clients a lot, we're going to play. And when you come say play, people go, ooh, we're not supposed to play as adults. So I say, oh, we're going to go do the work. Do you know how we call it the work? I'm going to do the work on myself. What if you come to do the play on yourself? What if you come to be seen for exactly who you are in the entirety of your being, not just part of your being, not just the hidden part? What if you can come and be willing to play and be in the room with others who are playing?
Peter:
[33:20] And that is where the magic starts to happen because you start to be seen. Everything comes. And it's really weird. I think people build things up in their head about what it's going to be like. And it's like the only piece of advice I could give is don't get into your head about it just literally turn up come ready to play come ready to be seen and one of my favorite words around these things is like, just be prepared come to discover I love that that's that's that's.
Nick:
[33:49] Maybe the wisest of them all come to discover.
Peter:
[33:53] Yeah because that way you'll you are going to discover exactly what you're going to need for yourself um and that's me like and that's I love it and I love the you know Coming along and being able to speak to you about this because I know that, it's one of those things like, you know, a few people in my world have always said I'm a little bit of an energetic weather vane for people, which means I usually cop the shit first and then a couple of weeks later, everybody else starts feeling it. That's mean I know we've been going through this and that's why I thought it was number one important to talk to you about it. But I love the fact that, you know, in a couple of months' time, we're going to be in the room together working with people and playing with people and literally just discovering and having beautiful conversations with people around this very, very topic. And with that when you're seeing that and you're envisioning that weekend what else is kind of coming up for you on that weekend.
Nick:
[34:53] Uh you know i i think that that weekend for me, is going to be being back in australian culture first and foremost for me personally that's fun that's that's fun i mean not alone it's fun because it's like i'm stepping into a different world. But for you all, I do think that it's about taking breaths. It's about tuning in. It's about finding that joy. It's about letting go. And I think that if you can truly just come into that space with all of that, in the back of your mind, not even the front of your mind, Like you said, just come to discover. But if you can just allow a little bit of that to resonate, then you're going to really find that magic that we're talking about. And it's so right there. It's so tangible. It's so ready for you. It's so ready for you. It's so ready. And I'm excited.
Peter:
[35:57] It is.
Nick:
[35:57] Clearly.
Peter:
[35:58] Clearly. I love it. I love that you're excited. No, it's so awesome too because I love the fact that we're in a room and like there's literally three distinctive accents in the room.
Nick:
[36:10] Oh, yeah.
Peter:
[36:11] I just, I love that so much. But, you know, it's great. And if you come along, guys, and allow, and here's, hey, hey, yeah, nah.
Nick:
[36:22] Yeah, nah. I got to practice that. I got to practice before October. Yeah, nah.
Peter:
[36:28] Yeah, nah. Sort of. It's all about, it's not so much about how you say it. It's about placement more than anything. You've got to get the place right.
Nick:
[36:36] Okay, I'll work on it.
Peter:
[36:38] Yeah, you'll work on that. I'll give you some stage directions. It's okay.
Nick:
[36:42] Yeah, nah.
Peter:
[36:44] Give you some cue lines. No, but it's beautiful. And I love the fact, like, kind of bringing that. And like you said, allowing is a big thing. You've got to allow it. And I think the biggest thing is if this conversation has resonated with you, if this is where you're at, the whole thing of like, you don't have to push.
Nick:
[37:03] Yeah.
Peter:
[37:04] It doesn't have to be hard. But sometimes, as Nick was just saying, you need to take a breath. You need just that little time out to kind of go, I need a different environment. I need a different experience to help stoke the fire of a part of yourself that's probably, you know, simmering for too long. So, if that's the case and you've been enjoying this conversation, seriously, October 17, 18, come along on the Gold Coast, the Sofitel Broadbeach. We'll be doing the Inspirational Soul Summit in October. Come along. All the information I'll put in the show notes as well, but we'll be there. You can have a look at it on my site, inspirationalsoul.com forward slash soul summit. You can have a look there as well. But Nick Demos, thank you so much for your time.
Nick:
[37:53] Thank you, my brother. Love you very much. Thank you.
Peter:
[37:56] Love you too. And it's honestly, I cannot wait. It's just, I know it's always going to be what it needs to be. Truly, truly do love working with yourself and Dunya because you guys just get it. It's so flowing. There is no push in the room whatsoever. So, cannot wait to have you back on Australian soil and connecting with all the wonderful people who are going to be in the room on the two days.
Nick:
[38:24] See you then.
