[0:00] Hello everyone and welcome and I'm just going to prompt you right here,
[0:06] right now, that it is time to get ready. It is time to strap yourself in and before you go any further, I want to make sure that you've got the time to listen to this one. You've got the time to go along and do some of the prompts and exercises I'm going to give you. That's right. Buckle up because we're stepping into your future and you're going to be doing this with me. This is interactive. This is something that we're leading into. This is the big portion and giving you a little bit of a taste of what's kind of coming in January with the summit that is coming up. And the whole thing is you're gonna have to get ready because you are going to get for some very strong opinions you're about to have a chat you are about to meet and talk to you future self that's right we're going to be talking to your future self right here on this episode so if this is something that you're wanting to do if you're ready to make that shift if you're ready to embrace what's next for you, then this episode's for you, and I want you to take it seriously.
[1:27] For that reason, I highly recommend you have the time. So, you might want to go off and pause, you want to go get yourself ready, or bookmark this episode to come back and do it at a later time. I always tend to find that the exercises are always more powerful the first time that you do them. So, yes, you might be going, oh, but Pete, I'm driving, and I want to listen to this. That's okay, but what's going to happen is you might listen to some of the prompts as you're driving, which is fine. But then guess what? You're going to get up in your head about it. And all of a sudden you're going to lose that absolute power spot of really receiving things completely intuitively. Not to say that you can't, but I'm just saying if you want to get the maximum benefit and really tap into this space, then make sure you bookmark and have the time to do this. So if you are ready and you're ready to buckle up and get rid of this.
[2:20] The future is now. We're about to step into this. So, this is a big inspiration. The energy at the moment is massive. It's like we're finally feeling some momentum. There's a bit more release, which is amazing.
[2:36] Oh my God, doesn't it feel like a breath of fresh air? We can kind of go, oh. It's like a big universal sigh kind of going, finally, we're here and away we go. So, this whole episode has a little bit of a backstory. So, before we get into it, just want to kind of give you that. So, what actually happened is I've had a vision for some time and like I am just one of those people and you know, you might be too, but not everyone's the same, but I'm one of those people that I kind of get that insight and I start to build a vision and I get like little breadcrumbs to start with, but then over time, it's almost like I get that clarity and I get this nudge and I get this pull to kind of go, I really want to create this or this is really calling to me. And so, over the last couple of years, I've had that and I had the wonderful privilege of giving something like this a little bit of a taste test, a little bit of a chance to see whether there was going to be enough interest. And so, I did a wonderful one-day workshop and seminar with my great mate, David Laws, the flower man. Most of you have probably heard of him. If not, look him up. Lovely guy.
[3:56] And we decided to do this and put this together in January a couple of years ago. And we couldn't believe the response. We literally sold 90 seats in less than 48 hours. We were absolutely blown away. We were absolutely humbled by the response and it was a beautiful day that we ended up having. And so, from that, I started that and going, okay, that's nice. We can do this. But then, of course, the vision got bigger. It started to build. There was a little bit more. There was more kind of coming through and I just had to kind of sit and wait for that to build. And so, I kind of got that little bit of like, cool, yeah, this is good, but there was more to be done. And so, then all of a sudden,
[4:45] Let's just fast forward. We're going to fast forward and rewinding, by the way. So, fast forwarding from when I did that with my mate David Laws, it's kind of just been a little bit of extra time. And so, back in July, August this year, I decided to go all in. I took a massive, massive leap of faith. And it was because when I leaned in to this vision and I leaned in to this part of myself, this future part of myself, it felt so right.
[5:24] Something in me, it was calling me. I could see the vision. It felt so right. It felt so clear. I didn't feel any heaviness. I didn't feel any resistance, my body was just like going, yes, yes, yes. This beautiful energy.
[5:41] But of course, my head's going, but what happens if this doesn't work? Or what happens? You know what? In that moment, I did not care. All of that was gone. I was really embodying this. I didn't have anything ready. I've literally booked this thing. I didn't have any speakers. I had ideas. Okay, guys, I did have ideas, but I didn't have anyone locked in. I didn't have anything secured. All I was, was the whole thing of this feels good. I'm getting the nudge. I've got to act on this. So that's what I ended up doing. And so I really had no idea where it was going. All I knew was this fits the new brand. This feels good. This is where I'm looking to do. And the real big part of me was.
[6:34] I want this for people. I want to bring people together in this capacity. And that there was enough for me to really start taking that plunge, to really start moving forward with this. But the whole thing here is, and what I need you to understand is it's in these moments, and a lot of the moments throughout my whole professional career so far, especially over the last 12 years, this is how I've moved forward. This is how I have been so privileged to get to the position that I am. Even to the point of like, there was a point where I dibble-dabbled a little bit with interviewing people and thinking about podcasting. Then I jumped all the way in. The key thing here is I acted before clarity came. So, I didn't have everything lined up. I didn't have the perfect thing. It was just going, hey, I know this. I've got a feeling around this. This feels really good. This feels really strong. I don't have the details, I don't have it all mapped out, but I'm going to start the process.
[7:41] Once you take that leap and once you start moving forward, that is when clarity starts to come. If you're sitting there right now waiting for clarity in your future self before you make a decision, I'm telling you right now, you're going to be standing or sitting where you are for a much longer period of time. This is what I always say to people, remember, it's always quicker to meet the universe halfway.
[8:06] Let that sink in for a second. It's always quicker if you meet the universe halfway.
[8:13] Most people kind of sit, surrender and go, I'm going to wait for a sign. I'm going to wait for this to happen. But if you actually start moving forward and you step forward to where you want to go, universe will meet you a lot faster when you start doing that. And that's a really key point. So, this is why acting before certainty works because when you start stepping forward, once you start paying attention to that energy and that energetic pull towards that future part of yourself, That is you signaling and giving massive, massive confirmation and intention to universe that this is what you're wanting and you want clarity around this. It makes a huge difference. And what you've got to be aware of is around the energetics of this and how this works is that, you know, your heart and your soul knows where it wants to go. What will happen is it's your head in the present moment that will keep you where you are.
[9:22] You know, I talked a little bit about this, and I'm going to give you another scenario here just to kind of our analogy to help you understand. And I explained this to the lovely group of people that came along to the Soul Reboot mini retreat just recently. And we had two rooms there, and I just described to people, this is what happens in life all too often. Your soul and your heart and your energetic body your energetic self is in one room whereas but in the room behind it that's where your head is at and it's dragging its heels and it's like going you know what let's just stay here because it's safe i'm will we're gonna stay here because we don't have everything mapped out we're gonna stay here because you know it's like just in case something goes wrong, this will be easier to work with. Whatever happens, right? But the whole thing is you're holding yourself back, pure and simple. So, you've got to be super mindful right now, and this is what I really want to call upon you in this episode, is be mindful of where your present hesitations are.
[10:29] Pausing you or putting you in that holding pattern? What is it right now in your mind that is keeping you where you are? What is it in your mind that is causing you to hesitate? What is it causing you to pause when you already know? Just think about that for a moment. And if you have your pen and paper, if something's coming to your mind, write it down. Be honest with yourself. There is nothing to fear here. This is just you with your thoughts. And I'm just prompting you. I'm just helping to bring this energy and these thoughts out of you so we can create that little bit of extra alignment for you.
[11:10] So, where is those present hesitations coming from? Where are they? What are they? Write them down. Give that a go. But the whole point is, is that the more you start to act on those nudges, you get these feels, despite not having all of it worked out.
[11:30] Here's the thing, that momentum, by saying yes, giving the signal and the intention to universe that you're going, hey, I'm ready to move forward, that momentum creates alignment. As soon as you step forward, the universe starts rearranging stuff for you as you move forward. It is huge. And so, this is when it comes down to the whole thing of like your future is not waiting for you.
[12:04] It's calling you. Your future is already there. You already have access to it. It is not waiting. It's calling. But the question is, are you going to answer that call? It's such a simple yet profound thing. Now, you might be here and you might be listening going, oh, yeah, Pete, I get it. Or, you know, oh, you know what? I'm still not 100% sure. Wherever you're sitting here, that's okay. Wherever you're sitting right now, this could be giving you a great sense of anticipation going, Pete, I want more of this. It could be giving you a greater sense of like fear going, oh, I'm not sure about this. I don't know whether this is for me. Wherever you're on this journey listening to this right now, please stay with me. Like I said, buckle up. We're on a road here. We're on a road trip and there's no stopping. We're going to see this all the way through.
[12:58] So, see this through because now I'm going to start taking you through some of the exercises to help you with this because I just really want to help you to start to get that momentum, to help you to get that little bit of extra alignment so you can really start to move forward and step into your future.
[13:20] So, let's have a look. The first thing that we're going to do together right now is we have to remember, a past leap, okay? This is what's always easier because the majority of us at some point in our lives have ended up making a leap, just like I was describing when I was like, cool, I've got this vision of this summit and the room. I haven't got it all worked out, but I'm going to do it. We all have our own version of that leap. But what I want you to do now is I want you to recall a past one. Now, it could be you might have done one recently, last year, this year. You might have to go back a while. You might have to go back to your teenage years or go back to your 20s or whatever you might need to do. The whole thing is, I'm pretty sure most of you listening have done one in the past. So, I'm just going to give you a few prompts to help you with this because is you might be sitting there going, oh, I've got something in my mind,
[14:27] but is this an actual leap? Okay. So, if you don't stress, I'm going to walk you through it. So, how do we know whether it's a leap or what are we exactly looking for? These are the prompts we're doing. So, we're going to latch onto one. If you've got one in your mind, great. I'm going to help you go a little bit deeper and you're going to use your pen and paper here.
[14:48] So, first thing is you're going to think of that time you acted, right? So, you took action without having all the pieces, without having all the information, without knowing the outcome or the result. When was that time? Just pick one. When you're doing this, trust yourself. Whatever's first popping into your mind, we're not looking for the biggest and the most grandest leap. It can be the simplest of leaps. You might have, for example, it might be like, I decided to quit my job and I didn't know what was going on, but that's what I did. No, it could be that, or it could be something simple of like, I decided to take a holiday. I didn't have a plan, but at the last minute, I got an invite and I went somewhere special. It doesn't matter where it sits on the scale as long as it fits that whole theme of taking action without the pieces or the answers.
[15:49] Now, once you have that locked in, we're going to go deeper. Now that you've got that memory of the leap that you've taken, I want you to acknowledge within yourself. And I want you to go a little bit more into your body, not just in your head, but I want you to answer this question, what did it feel like? Now, you can take that in two parts. You can say, what did it feel like before you took the leap? And then you can start to ask yourself, what did it feel like after the leap?
[16:25] So, I want you to take your time, if you need to, hit pause, and then answer those questions. The more articulate you can get around this, the stronger it will be, the stronger it will actually bring this up in your energetic body. And that's kind of what we're looking for. So, don't skim, don't cheat yourself here. I can only recommend to really delve deeper. So, what did it feel like? The next prompt you're going to be looking at is what did it create for you? So, what was this is like now looking at it going because the great thing is it's a past leap so we can now reflect on it as a whole. So, once you took the leap, what did that create for you? For example, you know, let's take the job. You might have ended up in the most amazing job that you would never have thought of before. And that job led to meeting some of your best friends, or maybe you met a new partner. It's amazing when we start to reflect what we actually find these leaps create for us. So, take note of that. What did it create for you? You might have to join a few dots, but I guarantee you there'll be something really beautiful and profound for you in that moment.
[17:44] Hey, now, the next prompt. This is going to be a little bit trickier. It's going to be a little bit harder, but hang in there, guys. Hang in there. So, what proof did that moment give you about your courage? I'm going to repeat that again. What proof did that moment give you about your courage? The reason why this is a little bit harder is because you're going to have to look and reflect on yourself. This is about you acknowledging you having that bravery and having that courage to do something without knowing the outcome. That's what courage is. It's facing things into the unknown, doing it regardless. So, what proof did it give you about yourself and your courage? Right? So, that's an important one. I'd really love to hear the answers on that because these guys, these are some powerful, powerful prompts. This is really going to invoke some beautiful energy within you if you follow this through. So, hang in there. Right? So, as you're now looking at all those prompts, you've got that memory. You're going in and settling in about the feelings that you had about it. You can see what it created for you, and you can have a look about what it shows you about yourself in that moment.
[19:04] I want you to relive that because by recalling all of that, we're now really invoking that leap. We're invoking that memory and that moment that was so powerful for you. We're recalling and invoking that energy to come back into your present moment into your present body i want you to feel that energy again like feel it in your body relive it kind of connect with it okay and this is the thing you never lost it some people say i don't know how to be like that again. You do. If you've done it once, you can do it again. You've just forgotten. And all I'm trying to do is remind you that you didn't lose it and you still have it and it's still yours to use.
[19:56] Now that you know that this is yours and you have done it and you can do it again, I want you to acknowledge, how does that make you feel?
[20:04] How is that, what emotions are coming up for you? What are you feeling in your body when you start to realize you still have this power? You still have these abilities. You can still do this for yourself. It's very, very powerful. So, I'm hoping and I'd love to hear from you guys. All right. So, the whole thing is just acknowledging these moments and acknowledging how they can actually really help us. And I think we, the majority of us, underestimate and undervalue our own capabilities. We underestimate and undervalue our own courage, what we're capable of, you know, and where it kind of leads us. And, you know, because life can get us down and can be pretty heavy at times. And this is why it's important to remind ourselves of this.
[21:04] And the reason why we're looking at these past leaps is because, you know, there's big things here about stories that, you know, we tell ourselves during this situation. Because here's the thing. If you're thinking about something about your future now, a decision that's coming up or, you know, whether you like change your jobs, want to move house or maybe want to, you know, look after your health, whatever that may be, there's going to be some form of story that you're telling yourself.
[21:37] That could be holding you back. That's getting into your head and holding you in the present, not aligning with your energy. You know, there's always something here. And this is the beautiful thing. And these are the themes that we're going to be exploring. You know, I love it. And I'm so, so grateful because I've got my very, very good friends coming out to join me, you know, for the summit and you know nick is the story master he can sense and see these stories a mile away and he is going to be all helping about seeing these stories and seeing how and helping you to understand how these stories are shaping your identity and helping you to shift them so we can step into the future.
[22:27] You know, then I tell you what, one of the biggest stories that I hear a lot from people too is usually around the money one, okay? Money and finances. There's always big stories around that, you know? But obviously, a lot of those stories come back and relate to our own level of self-worth, which is a huge one. Again, looking at the bravery, the courage, at how we see ourselves. And that's what I love there too because, like, you know, we're going to delve into that and I've got my other great pal, Dunya Douglas Hunt, and she's going to really lean into the wealth, the self-worth and the financial energy that you're carrying and having a look at where that energy and those energetic stories are sitting for you there and helping to release so you can step forward.
[23:21] And the beautiful part is I'm bringing this together because then obviously, you know me, I'm helping you here right now. We're looking at the soul. We're looking at how the head is playing its game. We're looking how to get that alignment happening. How can we embody this energy? How can we push this forward? These are the pillars. These are the three big pillars that will help you move, your future into the now. These are the three pillars that are going to help
[23:51] you to bring your future self and fast forward it and bring it into the now. And that's a really, really big thing.
[24:01] So, we're going to have a look at these pillars, but I'm also going to take you through another exercise right now. Okay. This is going to help you. I want to show you. This is, I love this stuff. I love helping people to connect in this way. So, this one's a little bit deeper. It's going to require just that little bit of extra time. So, please make sure you've got the time and the space to do this. You definitely do not want to be doing this one while you're driving or mowing the lawn or whatever you're going to be doing. Please do not operate heavy machinery while you do this exercise. I feel like I need to have that caution across there. It's almost like caution, hot content when you're buying coffee.
[24:40] So, we're going to jump into the second exercise. And this is going to be bringing your future self. And we're going to be bringing your future self into the now. So, if you're ready and you're looking for this, maybe you still have that little bit of fear, trepidation, hesitation about what's happening in the future, what you want, this exercise is for you. Okay. So, here we go. Right now, I want you to just have that space, You know, put the headphones on, make sure you've got a space where it's just you and me for this moment.
[25:14] And right now, I want you to close your eyes and I just want you to take that nice deep breath in and breathing it out. So, just let that out. Beautiful. Okay. Just relaxing, just clearing our mind, nothing more. Now, you need to trust what's going to come to you here. This is not about needing to understand everything. This is not about you analyzing everything. This is just about you being and sitting with yourself right now. Love it. Beautiful. Feeling the energy there with you. Loving where you're at and just trusting and just allow your mind to be calm, and allow that breath to settle. You're doing great love it and now i just want you to picture and imagine your future self six to twelve months ahead of now just six to twelve months just see it allow yourself to pop in it'll be there because it's not that far you've already contemplated it so that vision is there but I just want you to see it in your mind.
[26:27] And when you're seeing this version of yourself, this version of yourself has achieved the thing or made the decision that you're looking to do. You're already there. You've already accomplished it. I want you to see and take yourself to that future self where you've actually accomplished the thing that you're looking to set out.
[26:50] I want you to do that. See that version of yourself now. You've achieved it. And now that you can sense and feel and see that version of yourself having accomplished the thing that's there for you, stay with me. I want you to acknowledge and see them and say, and look, how do they feel? How is this version of yourself acting? How are they being? how are they interacting how are they talking what's their body language what are you wearing whatever details are kind of coming to you i just want you to observe them you're not looking here to analyze them just observe take all of that information in now that you've taken all of that information in, I now want you to do one thing.
[27:44] I want you to look at that future version of yourself that has accomplished this, and I want you to look at the first step they took in order to get to this place. It's right there. The answer's right there. They already know. They've already taken it. What was the first step they took in order to get to this point? I want you to either hear it, sense it, feel it, see it, however it comes to you. It might even just be a knowing. It does not matter. But ask that future version of yourself, what was the first step they took to get there?
[28:22] You just need to identify the one step. Now that you have that step, you can open your eyes and I want you to write that down. Write down everything that you have just observed and taken in from that moment, and more specifically, what that step is. The beautiful thing is it's already there and you have just tapped into it because it exists. It already does and already has happened. And that's why when you see that step, it will feel kind of natural and it may seem quite obvious. you may now even be having the feelings of like, I've already felt like I've taken it. I've already felt like I've done that step. That is a powerful space because that means you know it's going to be okay. It's helping you with that leap.
[29:15] That one step is your bridge. It is the bridge to the future that you want for yourself. It is the bridge to get you to where you really want to go and where you desire, and it's the one that helps bridge your head back to your soul. So, what are you waiting for? Take that step now. Take it. You now have it. You have your clue. You have your way forward. You have the clarity that so many people ask for. And if it's there, right? Now, maybe you're sitting there and go, I didn't quite get a peek. That's okay. hey, give yourself the breath, take some time. Maybe it wasn't the right time or wasn't the right environment. You might need to try it again tomorrow. That's okay. But we're just looking for that one step. And once you get it, you have your pathway forward. And that's all it takes. That one step. Will absolutely start the momentum for you. Once you start the momentum, everything starts to change and that's what we're looking for and that's what I hope for you.
[30:22] So, this is this whole theme about stepping into this, acknowledging this, empowering yourself with this knowledge and this is like the whole theme the summit has been built around because this is what I want, this is what I'd love to share and I'd like to have this with it as well. And, you know, this is just that thing. I wanted to share this with you because that way in case you may not be able to come or make it this particular time, this is still here to help you. But if this is now something that you've kind of gone, wow, thank you so much, this has empowered me, well, then this is the exact thing that we're going to be going through. The only thing is we're going to go further into depth. we're going to be looking at all three pillars to really help create that shift so you can step into the now.

The energy is absolutely ready for everyone to start jumping into this. This is why I wanted to get on here and record this. So, remember, go through those two exercises. Look at the past leap first. So, acknowledge something that you've done. Very, very powerful and important. That's the first step.
[33:09] Second step, then leaning into that future self. It doesn't take much. we're not looking to analyze or go too deep we're just looking to observe and get that first step to really know within yourself that first step is going to work and that will really really help you okay and it's i mean the whole thing is you know i do do deeper versions of this exercise when i do my retreats and stuff but this is just something i could do and share with you here and the beautiful part is i really do truly believe that your future self.
[33:42] Already celebrating because you've taken the time to do this and meet that version of yourself. That version of yourself is there. It's waiting for you to go, hey, step up and own your path. And I really do hope that this has helped open up that path for you.
